Gyakuto Techs

Clan Description
-- While the Gyakuto clan isn't the oldest, or the newest clan to Konohagakure, they seem to one of the more infamous ones.Known mainly for their family connections to Orochimaru, and their very snake like attributes. The bloodline, as a whole, is very secretive. Problems with the family, stay in the family.Aside from their secretive nature, they are known for their animal handling abilities that rival even the Inuzuka clan.

Currently, there is no head of the Gyakuto family, after the sudden disappearance of their previous leader, Ouza, no one has attempted to step up and take her spot.

Physical Markers
-- Each Gyakuto member is born with a set of retractable fangs. Fully extended, they can be as long as four inches. They do have the ability to hiss, much like a snake does. Finally, and usually the feature that is the most noticeable are the markings around their eyes. Those who are directly related to Orochimaru are far more likely to pick up this trait than those who are not.

Name:Netsugengan - Heat Source Eye
Type: Dojutsu
Rank: B
Range: Close ( 0m-5m), Mid (5m-10m)
Chakra Usage: Low for activation, low continual drain
Physical Indicators of Activation: Pupils become slitted
Description: Like their snakes, the Gyakuto can see heat. After the initial activation, the user can now see levels of heat, usually represented by colors, the coldest being black, and then hottest being white. Along with seeing heat being put off by animals and people, it can also see residual heat, left behind touching something or even just walking.

While activated, it is extremely difficult to see things in finer detail, basic movement is about all that can be seen.

NOTE - Things that do not generate heat, weapons, rocks.. ect, will be nearly impossible to see.

Name: Hebidoku - Snake Venom.
Type: Kekkei Genkai
Rank: B
Range: Close [ 0m - 3m ]
Chakra Usage: Mid
Description: This technique is what allows the user to produce venom. After the initial activation, the user will produce venom for the rest of the day. This venom can be transferred via fangs, or saliva. The amount of venom that can be transferred is up to the user up to 100 mg. The venom takes at least two rounds to initially take effect.
Toxicity Table:
30 mg - Numbness of bite area, and loss of balance
50 mg - Blurred Vision, muscle cramps
70 mg - Stiffness in joints, labored breathing
150 mg - Hallucinations, muscle groups begin to shut down
200 mg - Overall Paralysis, suffocation if medical attention is not sought.

Name: Hibiki Ikioi no Jutsu - Reverberation Awareness Technique.
Type: Kekkei Genkai
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m - 5m) Mid (5m - 10m )
Requirements: Doton release
Chakra Usage: Mid
Description: When this technique is activated, the users pushes their chakra to either their feet or their finger tips, and it allows them to feel very fine vibrations in the ground. This extra chakra is used to active extremely sensitive nerves in either their finger tips or their feet. Then the user places their bare fingers or feet against the ground, the sensitized nerves will help pick up very small vibrations in the ground.
NOTE- The user must stay COMPLETELY still for this technique to work properly, any movement will throw off the vibrations.

Name:---
Type: Dojutsu
Rank: B
Range: Close ( 0m-5m), Mid (5m-10m), Far (10m - 20m)
Chakra Usage: Low for activation, low continual drain
Physical Indicators of Activation: Pupils become slitted
Description: Like the snakes they keep on the compound, Gyakuto clan members have small sensory organs just underneath their eyes called ' pits '. When activated, these allow the user to see a heat overlay of their surroundings. Temperature is indicated by different colors, cooler temperatures usually blues, and purples, while hotter temperatures are usually yellows, oranges, reds, and even white.

With this range is an issue I see. Snakes can see temperature but at limited ranges. Also if solely using this method depth perception is shot down and at the farther ranges--even if the changes in temperature can be seen--details are much harder to discern. I just think some more details need to be added in.

Name:----
Type: Kekkei Genkai
Rank: A
Range: --
Chakra Usage: Mid
Description: When this technique is activated, the users pushes their chakra to either their feet or their finger tips, and it allows them to feel very fine vibrations in the ground. Usually used to helps to feel if their are any other enemies in the area by the vibrations in the ground their walking, or running makes.

What's the maximum distance vibrations can be felt through the ground? I understand different substances would change that. Also I imagine that the person using this technique likely needs to stay still and concentrate. More description on this one too, please.

The obvious drawback to an ability like this would be things without heat, and overall perception would go down. You'd be trading off actual perception for the ability to perceive heat. Likewise, even with this active, things that generate heat would be more difficult to see the finer, more precise actions. For example, you'd see the guy moving in but you wouldn't clearly see a grasp for a sword, a punch, or a kick.

In other words, a mode of vision like this would be for just picking out targets' existences, not for actual combat application.

You should specifically add that the user should remain still to do so. Even though it's kind of expressed in the nature of how things are sensed, the extra line would make it more explicit.

Re: Gyakuto Techs

Edited the third one,

as for the first one.. would there be anyone to be able to see things in finer detail to see things like weapons? Or would it would pretty much be just to see people?

Re: Gyakuto Techs

It's heat vision. Weapons, unless on fire, wouldn't show any heat. So you would lose out there.

It's pretty much gotta be a single function of sight. You know, in low light / no light settings for just enough to know someone is there and where. Just how infrared vision works.

Re: Gyakuto Techs

Alright, that's fine. I mainly just wanted some sort of basic visual detection tech.
