These will almost always involve performing some form of handseal in order to perform, specifically when dealing with any ability that involves something supernatural that an individual would not be able to do by their own realistic, physical power. Chidori (a.k.a. Raikiri) is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Hatake Kakashi utilizing the Lightning Element. Chidori allows him to cut through any foe. Later, Uchiha Sasuke used his Sharingan and the training of Kakashi to also learn the technique. It was given the nickname Raikiri after it was said Kakashi used the technique to cut a lightning bolt in two. Chidori is used for assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, Kakashi and Sasuke's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack.
After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, Kakashi and Sasuke use their quickness and the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Because their opponent can easily counter the attack, it requires a Sharingan user to make the technique worthwhile. The Sharingan will allow them to predict any moves their opponent decides to make and send their strike home into the target. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name. Because of the great amount of chakra needed to utilize the technique, the technique can only be used so many times during the day

Chidori Eisou is a Lightning Element technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke. Sasuke is able to shape the Lightning Element to form an extending spear of lightning. Though unstated, this spear probably takes on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the sword to strike its target with ease. This attack may also be similar to Chidori Nagashi, causing the target to go numb from the electrical charge.

Chidori Nagashi is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke out of the original Chidori technique. Instead of merely focusing the electrical force to his body, Sasuke is able to extend it outside of his body and through objects which he is holding. This allows him to create a protective zone around his person. This zone of electricity can shock and immobilize his foes, presumably by attacking their nervous system.
Used in conjunction with his Kusanagi sword, the blade becomes almost unstoppable. It takes on Chidori's natural ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the sword to strike its target with ease. Should the sword strike a human, the charge will cause the target to go numb, lessening their ability to further counter his attacks.
Note: Only learnable by jounin-level ninja. Given its cost, it could only be used once or twice in a battle at most before completely exhausting chakra supply.

After performing handseals, drawing together his dual short swords, electrical energy will begin to crackle. A plume of of an electrified chakra-like essence will rise into the clouds above to activate the lightning to come crashing down on Raiga's target.

This ability allows the user to charge metals they are in contact with with a magnetic charge. Typically the magnetic charge isn't massive, but it is enough at close range to attract magnetic metals to its surface quite effectively. Objects contacted will maintain the charge for three turns before returning to their normal state. Understand that this magnetic charge does not discriminate. All metal will be subject to the charge, belonging to allies, enemies, and user alike.

Jishaku Ninpou is a Ninjutsu technique used by Janin ninja Jiga. From an early age Jiga ingested iron and over time he developed the ability to magnetize this internal iron. This grants him the ability to magnetize other iron outside of his body. He can also manipulate common shinobi weapons, the mace he wields and satetsu (iron sand). He turns this ability on and off by slapping his stomach. He has to make sure and stagger his attacks, to allow him a moment to brush off any accumulated satetsu. If he remains in the "on" position for too long, the satetsu will cover his body, smothering him.
Denji Genmu - Electromagnetic Visions:
After magnetizing his body, Jiga will draw in satetsu which he will disperse over his target. An electric current will pass between the particles, affecting the target's brain function. Because the brain uses low voltage impulses, the impulses will be disrupted causing their mind to short circuit. They will be temporarily stunned, allowing Jiga to attack with his other weapons.
Mugen Inseki - Infinite Meteorites:
After magnetizing a spot of iron behind his target, Jiga will break nearby rock and ore with his mace. This ore will be thrown into the air and be drawn to the magnetized spot. If needed, he can strike more times to launch further waves of attacks.
Note: This ability requires that the individual had undergone the lengthy, similar process as that of Jiga.

Ninpou: Rairyuu no Tatsumaki is a Ninjutsu technique used by Kurosuki Raiga. One of Raiga's many lightning based jutsu, this technique is used in conjunction with his two swords. Drawing his two swords together, Raiga will raise them into the air and draw lightning down upon his body. The current will be contained within and around Raiga's form. He will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon and strike out against his opponent. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.

Raiton Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes lightning to create a Kage Bunshin clone. Because it is a Kage Bunshin, the Raiton version shares the ability to interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. If the Raiton Kage Bunshin is injured, the clone will revert into its natural lightning state. Like in other Lightning Element attacks, should the target come into contact with the electricity, they will be momentarily stunned.
Note: Requires Kage Bunshin no Jutsu before learning.
