We have a simple list of expectations and guidelines for our members to follow. We want to stress the importance of these guidelines and we will not tolerate infractions of these guidelines. If you follow them, play by them, this will be a fulfilling, fun experience.
Maturity: Egotism, idiocy, and retardation will not be accepted here. Instant ban. I don't need you if you are categorized under any of the titles listed.
Respect: I'm not asking you to respect anyone you may not like or grow to like, but you will respect me and my forum. Hold your tongue should you have something bad to say about anyone, keep the trash off my forum, act like grown ups or young adults. Some of you may be preteens, but that doesn't give you a hall pass. I really don't need the bullshit.
Expectations: Firstly, I expect you, as a player, to go through a phase called: growth and development. You will learn and no doubt become a better writer, fighter, and a smarter person here on /leaf.
Secondly, I expect you all to give it 110% when you're role-playing. Three sentence paragraphs will not be tolerated, I don't care if there wasn't anything to write about. If you're not at all a decent writer, and I see that you aren't trying to make the improvements to become a better writer, you will banned. I don't have patience for people who wish to suck their entire life.
Lastly, I expect you to post at least three times a week. This isn't much at all when you think of it. It only takes ten minutes to post. I work full time and I'm raising a child, so if I can find free time to set this forum up, moderate, and post, you definitely can too. I am not forcing you to act out this role, but inactivity will be punished. I don't need players visiting and posting once or twice here on /leaf every two weeks. If there is a reason for your absence, and you let administration know, staff will make sure that your account isn't deleted.
Death is a reality in a story line like this, set in the universe of Naruto. It is very possible, maybe even very likely, that your character will day at some point over the course of their existence. Death, however, is not the end to your membership and progress. In the event of death here, your character's progress can be transferred to a new character. This new character retains all of the SP of the original character from beginning to end as well as their ninja rank. You are basically just starting where you left off with a slightly different backstory.
Posting: You are free to post in as many threads at one time as you would like. This is to keep people active and entertained. On a forum it's very common for people to go missing a few days, and in many instances missions can drag out over a pretty long period of time. This is our attempt to accomodate such an inconvenience.
However, it should be noted that any progress your character makes, new jutsu, new weapons, will not take effect on any threads that were already active at the time you learned / obtained them. These abilities will only be useable in threads started AFTER the techniques were learned.
